Community Connections at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ (CCLU)

In collaboration with the Disability Resource Center (DRC) in Joliet, CEEL hosts Community Connections at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ (CCLU). CCLU supports young adults in expanding independent living and career-related, social-emotional, and academic skills through twice-weekly engagement on Lewis University’s campus. The program is taught by DRC staff in collaboration with Lewis faculty and students and provides participants with opportunities to engage in the life of the university.

Community Connections at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ (CCLU) is hosted by Community Engagement and Experiential Learning in collaboration with the Disability Resource Center (DRC). CCLU supports young adults in expanding independent living skills through career-related, social-emotional, and academic skill-building activities.

Participants meet on the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ campus twice a week to engage in classroom learning and participate in university life, including special events and student organizations. The program is taught by DRC staff in collaboration with Lewis faculty and students.
