Social Security Number (SSN)
To qualify for a Social Security Card, you would need to have at least ONE of the following:
- An offer letter from an on-campus job
- An I-20 with approved CPT authorization
- Employment Authorization Document (EAD) along with your I-20 with approved OPT authorization

- Social security authorization letter from the ISGSS office
- Request your ISGSS SSN authorization letter by submitting .
- NOTE: This only applies to students with on-campus job offers. This does not apply to students with approved CPT/OPT employment.

- Most recent i-94
- Hire/ offer letter
- Proof of address
- If living on campus, ask one from the Office of Residence Life
- If living off campus, acceptable documents would be the following:
- Lease agreement, utility bill, bank statement, paycheck
- School ID / State ID
- Passport and visa
